The XCATdose is a calculator to predict the radiation dose to the adult patients for a variety of routinely used computed tomography (CT) examinations. Each category represents a group of protocols that cover the same anatomical region and share similar scan parameters. The dose results provided in this app are calculated using the scanner independent factors acquired from a large library of adult XCAT anthropomorphic models.
